Jazz Project is dedicated to bringing the music of the Jewish people
to a larger audience by using jazz as a vehicle for musical expression
The Chassidic
Jazz Project is comprised of seven musicians, including its leader,
veteran jazz drummer and composer Reuben Hoch and internationally
renowned percussionist Robert Thomas Jr.
The Chassidic
Jazz Project has an interesting and unusual instrumentation that
includes, viola and cello, creating a gorgeous chamber music effect

Jazz Project blends elements of jazz, fusion and new world, to create
a multi-cultural sound that can be described as liturgical music
at its best
The Chassidic
Jazz Project has performed for over 10,000 people throughout South
Florida at venues including The Broward Center for the Performing
Arts, The Hollywood Jazz Festival and Sunfest
The Chassidic Jazz Project
has released a live recording of its January 2001 performance at
the Broward Center for the Performing Arts featuring guest pianist
Don Friedman and Bobby Thomas Jr.
The Chassidic
Jazz Project's multi-cultural sound has attracted fans of all types
of music and all ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
