Don't miss this rare opportunity to hear the CJP with saxophone colossal Dave Liebman.

The Chassidic Jazz Project is comprised of seven musicians, including its leader, veteran jazz drummer and composer Reuben Hoch. They have an interesting and unusual instrumentation that includes, viola and cello, creating a gorgeous chamber music effect.
They have recently released a CD of their beautifully recorded live performance at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts features guest pianist Don Friedman and percussion great Bobby Thomas Jr.
"Reuben Hoch's Chassidic Jazz Project is a state of the art musical venture - the depth of the old and the excitement and intensity of the new meet with no compromise to either." (Ed Schuller)

Dave Liebman will be a special guest with CJP for their Makor performance. Liebman is called "one of the most important saxophonists in contemporary music...and a leader and artist of integrity and independent direction" by Downbeat Magazine. He has played with Miles Davis among many others, and has recorded 75 albums under his own leadership.
